Apni Party Provincial President Jammu and Ex-Minister Manjit Singh today expressed concern over the poor basic amenities and under-development in border villages of R.S. Pura.
He was addressing a joining programme which was organized by Provincial Secretary, Women Wing, Adv Nisha Bhagat in which many other leaders of the Party were also present.
Prominent among those who joined Apni Party include Sunil Kumar, Akshay Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Mandeep Kumar, Vikas, Subash Chander, Ranjeet Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Vikram Kumar, Priya Kour, Meenu Devi, Kiran Bala, Darshana Devi, Neeru Bhagat, Pushpa Devi, Rani Devi, Jyoti Bala, Kanta Devi, Veena Devi and others.
Welcoming them into the Party, he said that “The people from rural belt are also coming forward and joining Apni Party because of its policies and agenda which are public friendly and protects the rights of Jammu and Kashmir residents.”
He said that the bureaucracy is not concerned about the ground realities and the people are compelled to face under-development and poor basic amenities in many areas of the border belt.
He said that “The bureaucracy is not serious enough to resolve the developmental issues and this has shaken the faith of the people in the administration and other field departments.
On the other hand, he said, the people are feeling alienated from the traditional political parties.
“The traditional political parties have emotionally exploited the sentiments of the people and hardly worked for the welfare of the people. BJP has directly ruled J&K for the last eight years and this political party has been exposed completely before the people,” he said.
He said that the anti-public policies have led to the anguish among the people and recent notification regarding Rehbar-e-Janglat, Rehbar-e-Zirat and Rehbar-e-Khel was an eye-opener although the clarification was issued later that there was no plan to terminate their services.
